|Mission||The Australian Air League Inc. is committed to extending the benefits of being a member of our Organisation, widely recognised as the Primary School of Aviation, to boys and girls throughout Australia.|
The Australian Air League is the oldest aviation-based youth organisation in Australia, having been formed in 1934. It's aim is to foster and develop a spirit of aviation in the youth of Australia, and to develop traits such as leadership, self-discipline, teamwork and responsibility in its members. The Australian Air League is recognised throughout the aviation industry and Armed Services as the 'Primary School of Aviation'.
We are a not for profit organisation, our officers do not get paid they are all volunteers, we accept cadets aged from 8 years of age and if you want to continue past 18 years of age you can after completing a transition to warrant Officer requirement such as Volunteering with Children checks etc.
The Air League has an education system based on all areas of Aviation, so if your desire is to go into space, maybe maintain aircraft, interested in the Military, fly for a commercial airline or even just like general aviation then we have a education for you.
Our Officers are not all Pilots they are Volunteers that have an interest in Aviation but more importantly want to help Cadets gain the knowledge and experience they need to succeed in the Aviation.
