|Über uns||Europe's number one Pro wrestling academy, based in Purfleet, Essex. We have trained the likes of WWE superstar Wade Barrett & TNA's Magnus.|
|Mission||To produce the absolute best talent the UK has to offer|
Dropkixx Wrestling Academy is Europe’s number one professional wrestling academy. We focus on training wrestlers to the highest degree possible. And with former alumni such as WWE’s Wade Barrett and TNA’s Brutus Magnus as former students of ours, it is clear to see the reason why students want to learn to wrestle with us.
Dropkixx originally started life under the ownership of Frank Rimer and Tony Scarlo in the late 1990s. But it wasn’t until Jon Ritchie, a former three time British Heavyweight Champion, took the reigns in 2004, that things really got going.
Under Jon’s guidance, with more than thirty years in the business, as well as his background as both an amateur wrestler and boxer, he carefully crafted his students to becoming among the best in the business.
Our gym in Tilbury is the country’s first seven day a week purpose built wrestling training academy. Boasting a professional wrestling ring, Olympic sized mat area, gym equipment and teaching classes from MMA to boxing and kickboxing, it truly is a training place for anyone wanting to fight anybody.
And the best thing about all of this? It is available seven days a week at a cost of just £10 per week. This allows students to tailor their training around them and to properly hone their skills.
Olympic hero and multi-time WWE Champion and current TNA wrestler Kurt Angle had only good things to say of the gym when he visited in the summer of 2011.
In addition the gym is known for being family friendly as parents and relatives are invited to stay and watch at no extra cost. The gym has a positive atmosphere with students encouraged to support one another.
