Do you know a student or Scout who needs to attend a public meeting? The County Manager's Office offers a brief educational program that teaches youth the valuable role that local government plays in their lives. Each session includes an interactive, informative presentation, educational activities and an opportunity to engage with county officials. Local Government 101 occurs one hour before regular meetings of the Board of Supervisors, so participants will have an opportunity to attend a public meeting the same night. Registration is free but required at henrico.us/services/local-government-101/. For more information, contact Victoria Davis at firstname.lastname@example.org or (804) 501-4276.
