You're invited to this month's Brown Bag event featuring Todd van Kampen, author of "Ron & Carol Cope: A Nebraska Love Story." Carol Cope always regarded service as "the price we pay for the space we occupy in this world." This presentation will sketch the various geographic places they called home, as well as the major communities within Kearney that the Copes joined or helped create, and illustrate how they gave of themselves to all their communities.
This program is free and open to the public so bring your lunch and learn! Dessert and beverages will be provided. This collaborative program is presented by the UNK History Department, the Nebraska Historical Society, and the Kearney Public Library.
