How Communities of Faith Can Advocate with Marginalized Citizens
Join faith communities from throughout the District of Columbia at a public forum featuring Attorney General Karl Racine. AG Racine will talk about:
• The AG’s role in enforcing the city’s laws and regulations, particularly those related to low income housing and tenants’ rights;
• Landlord-tenant relations, including the suits his office has filed against slumlords;
• Some of the challenges District officials face in ensuring bad actors are penalized; and
• How communities of faith can support the AG’s work to help our DC neighbors in need.
Light refreshments available before program starts.
