On the Wall - An exhibition from trail artist Helen Elliott Art and Friends at Guildhall Cardigan 26th March – 7th April
Artist Helen Elliott’s new exhibition is a double celebration. It not only showcases the work of some of her former students, but also promotes the children’s book she has produced with her partner.
For the first time Helen is exhibiting alongside some of the people she has taught in her art workshops; Clare Howell, Karen Morris, Lynn Edwards, Daniel Casey, Jane Thomas, Jennifer Wilson, Sue Walker, Ally McInroy, Julia Benton and Bron Jones
“It’s really exciting that these artists are now at a level where they can exhibit their work in public,” said Helen. “For some it will be the first time their work has been on the wall – a really significant milestone.”
Helen’s own work on display will include local landscapes in acrylic. There will also be illustrations from the new children’s book Paradise Found published recently with her partner John Milton, which features the adventures of her dog Albie. Signed copies will be available at the exhibition.
Helen will be happy to discuss her work and answer questions.
The exhibition is open 10.00 am – 4.00 pm from Monday 26th March to Saturday 7th April.
