Finding Light in the Darkness: PART II
A focus on practical exercises to face and transform difficult emotions.
Spring is a time of transformation and new beginnings. As we emerge from the darkness of winter and enter into spring, we have an opportunity to ground ourselves in new intentions and plant the seeds we want to see grow within ourselves. Join Sarah Nobel MSc for Part II of this workshop, where we will focus on planting these seeds by learning practical exercises that can help us bring more radical acceptance into our everyday lives. Radical acceptance teaches us an alternative way to approach difficulty in life by saying yes to life just as it is—with all of its messiness and beauty and imperfection.
Through experiential exercises you will learn to cultivate greater mindfulness and compassion - the two components of radical acceptance - to enable you to face difficulty in a new way that facilitates a sense of peace and connection with yourself. Among the techniques you will learn are body-based guided exercises and loving-kindness meditation.
It is not necessary that you attended Part I of the workshop to attend Part II.
