|Über uns||We are Africans. We are educated. We are innovators. We are activists for change in Africa!|
|Mission||To support, unite and empower all African Intellectuals: students, entrepreneurs, scientists and politicians to become a generation that will make Africa a better continent!|
Generation of African Intellectuals (GAI) was first established in 5 May 2012 and started off as a blogging platform for educated African intellectuals from all over the African continent to debate and discuss and enlighten one another about
science and technology,
agriculture and environmental issues regarding Africa.
After realizing the potential and the importance of such an organization to exist, the founders- Twamanguruka Nghidinwa & Martina Adel Yacoub - decided to register the group as a non-partisan, non-profit organization in 2013.
GAI members who participate in GAI activities are from all over Africa: Benin, Burundi, Cameroon, Chad, DRC, Egypt, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Madagascar, Malawi, Namibia, Nigeria, Ruanda, South Sudan, Kenya, Uganda and Zimbabwe.
