Beschreibung Jahorina Ultra Trail is designed as a two-day event. The race will take place on the trails of various lengths so that they attract both amateurs and professional runners who achieve remarkable results in the field trail running.
The race routes will connect Jahorina with other parts of the country. The finish line of all races is on Jahorina while starting lines are at different locations. The track lengths and their starting positions are as follows:

MiNi: 10 km, 400m climb, start and finish on Jahorina mt;
MiDi: 34 km, 1200m climb, start at Baščaršija/Sarajevo, finish on Jahorina mt;
MaXi: 51 km, 2100m climb, start on Romanija mt, finish on Jahorina mt;
UltRa: 115 km, 4700m climb, start in Višegrad, finish on Jahorina mt.

Starting locations have been carefully selected to include tourist destinations and significant features of cultural and historical heritage through the whole trail: Baščaršija, Goat’s Bridge, narrow-gauge railway route Sarajevo-Višegrad, archaeological excavations in the area of Glasinac and necropolis and tombstones locations near Rogatica, Andrićgrad and the Mehmed Paša Sokolović Bridge in Visegrad, which is protected by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site.

The complete trail goes through natural environment of exceptional beauty and diversity. There are mountains Ivica, Sjemeć, Tmor, Romanija, Ravna planina, Trebevic, the area of Glasinac and Sjemeć, Sarač fields, canyons of Rakitnica, Pale and Mokro Miljacka, the Bistrica spring, spreading from Višegrad and Sarajevo to Jahorina.

Apart from people from Višegrad, the race is hosted and supported by the residents of Rogatica, Sokolac, Istočno Sarajevo and Sarajevo. While you concentrate on your racing challenges, they will have a task to justify their reputation of good hosts known for their hospitality and cordiality.
