I studied Veterinary Medicine in Cordoba, Spain and qualified as a veterinary surgeon in 1991. I went on to practice traditional equine veterinary medicine for the next 15 years.
In1997 I qualified as a farrier.
In 2003, I began to study Chinese Medicine and in 2005 I qualified as a veterinary acupuncturist, certificated by the International Veterinary Acupuncture Society (IVAS). During the same year, I decided to expand my knowledge by studying animal chiropractic in Germany. The International Academy of Veterinary Chiropractic which is based in Germany, is internationally recognised for teaching the highest level of animal chiropractic. I qualified in 2006, becoming a Certified Animal Chiropractor. This entitled me to become a certified member of the International Veterinary Chiropractic Association (IVCA). I am also a member the British Veterinary Chiropractic Association (BVCA).
In 2006 I set up my own independent chiropractic practice in the UK and began trading as the EVCPractice. I have continued trading for the last ten years, servicing clients in large parts of the South East of England, Scotland, France, Holland, Germany and Spain. My patients compete in all disciplines. Many of them compete at international level. In more recent years I have been working with horses that are representing the Spanish Dressage Team.
In 2011, I obtained my advanced certification in Animal Chiropractic.
I always strive in developing my knowledge and skills, thus enabling me to assist and help further all patients that are in my care. The CPD equine chiropractic courses that I am certified in, include the following: Functional Neurology, Applied Kinesiology, Logan Technique, Myofascial Realise, Craniosacral Therapy, Equine Structural integration (Rolfing), Functional Muscular Activation (Stammer Technique)
