Melissa Lacey is a newborn photographer located right outside, Harrisburg, PA. known for her beautiful posing technique, use of shadows and her soft, dreamy editing style. Her studio opened in 2013 and has photographed well over 400 newborn babies. Her work is natural and timeless and focuses on the details of your baby.

I believe in simple, organic, classic portraiture, a style that focuses on your beautiful baby. My use of props is never the focus of your photograph rather creates textural and warmth to your photographs . Some of my favorite images have no props at all, just baby, beautiful on their own. This way, they don’t get lost in the image. I have a complete line of hand selected props available at the studio, hats and headbands and lots of textures that I like to use. Newborns often look most beautiful naked, or just with a hat, headband or wrap. Newborns are perfect…just as they came.
