The Riverhill Grange Concert Series is an ongoing series of concerts held at the historic Riverhill Grange Community Hall in Concord/Penacook, NH. Thus far, the shows have typically been hosted by local Concord area musician, Matt Poirier. Usually performing as the support act and working as the Sound Technician, Matt has brought in a variety of New Hampshire based acts to perform at the hall.
MISSION STATEMENT: Our mission is simple. It is to bring a variety of local NH based musical talent into an atmosphere where listening to music is everybody’s main goal.
The Riverhill Grange Concert Series creates an environment where the music is the only center of attention. There are no distractions that the typical bar or club will have. There are no bartenders (though events are BYOB), there is no game on the TV, there is no one shouting over the band, etc. The concerts are more like gatherings of like-minded people who enjoy listening to and watching musicians perform their art. We provided a very laidback and positive vibe, and have proven that this tiny little hall is a great place for artists and fans alike.
As mentioned, the concerts are BYOB events. Shows are all-ages, but you must be 21 to drink. Patrons are asked to drink responsibly and to be respectful. Other than that, everyone is urged to have as good of time as possible.
Typically, non alcoholic beverages and snacks are provided and come with the price admission, which is usually $5.00. The venue is usually split into 2 sections for the audience… half is seating, and the other half is for standing and/or dancing. Smoking is not permitted inside of the venue, but there is plenty of room for that outside.
