CATHOLIC FAITH ALIVE ON CAMPUS.
Saint Paul's Outreach is a university campus outreach program founded in 1985 as a response to Pope John Paul II's call for a New Evangelization. SPO students live out this call by living in Household Communities with other students, hosting faith-filled events and retreats, engaging in prayer, praise, and worship, and reaching out to other students on campus.
At the University of St. Thomas, SPO is a campus club that offers a variety of ways for Catholic or Christian students to live out their faith and connect with the SPO community, including:
- SPOken : A night of prayer, formation, and fellowship every other Monday
- Men's and Women's Nights : Separate sessions for men and women on non-SPOken Monday nights
- SPO Formation Program : An opportunity for students to learn more about their faith through lectures and small groups
- Prayer Meetings : Weekly gatherings of charismatic prayer, praise, and worship
SPO @ UST currently offers one Men's Household (on Grand Ave) and on Women's Household (on Ashland St) for students interested in living in community with other students. We also offer a Women's Dorm Household. More information on the Households and how to apply can be found at http://www.SPOweb.org.
