About the Owner
Sheelah is a certified Rainbow Kids Yoga teacher, a self-taught meditator and on her way to a graduate certificate in Therapeutic Recreation. She has over seven years’ experience working with children from ages 3 to 18+ of all abilities. A self-proclaimed Care Bear, Sheelah’s energetic and joyful spirit contributes to fun filled classes while her kind and approachable manner help children feel at ease and supported.
Sheelah started her Yoga and Meditation journey five years ago to cope and manage stress and anxiety. After experiencing great benefit, she was inspired to teach these skills to children so that (starting at an early age) they could learn the skills valuable in experiencing life’s daily challenges. “Yoga and meditation taught me that I can find peace anytime because no matter what is happening in my outside world, I have the ability to affect my inside world. Teaching children this is empowering, and seeing them practice this, is rewarding beyond measure!”
