Mission WE BELIEVE

♦ The Scriptures, both Old and New Testaments, are verbally
inspired of God, and are God revealing Himself to man, the
infallible and final authority for all Christian life and faith.

♦ In one God, Creator of all things. Who is infinitely perfect and
eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

♦ That Jesus Christ is true God and true man. He was conceived
of the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin, Mary. He died on the
cross as a sacrifice fro our sins. Further, He arose bodily from
the dead, ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand
of the Father as our High Priest and Advocate.

♦ In the bodily resurrection of the dead: the believer to everlasting
joy with the Lord and the unbeliever to everlasting judgement
and everlasting conscious punishment separated from God.

♦ That man was created in the image and likeness of God, but fell
into sin and is, therefore, lost. Only through the regeneration by
the Holy Spirit can salvation and spiritual life be obtained.

♦ The true Church is composed of all those who are born again,
as taught in the Scriptures. Through this new birth, we are
united together in the body of Christ. Jesus Christ is the Lord
and Head of the Church.

♦ The Holy Spirit has been sent to indwell, guide, instruct, comfort
and empower the believer for Godly service and daily living, as
He glorifies the Lord, Jesus Christ. Every believer can, and
should be, filled with the Holy Spirit and speak in tongues.

♦ Healing is for us today and has been provided for us by the
substitionary sacrifice of Jesus Christ.

♦ In being fruitful and prosperous Christians to the glory of our
Father as we walk by faith with Him.

♦ God is a God of Love, with whom is no preference for one
person over another. He does not change and is forever the
same.

♦ The power of God’s Lo
Description Our Vision:

In Proverbs 29:18, we are told that “Where there is no Heavenly inspired vision (related to the plan of Redemption), the people will perish (meaning to languish or wander aimlessly).” Then in Habakkuk 2:2-3, the Word advises us to “ … write the vision and make it plain, that he who readeth may run with it...but to understand that the vision is yet for an appointed time and though it tarry, wait for it, for it shall surely come to pass.” In the initial season of prayer before founding Agape Family Church & World Outreach Center, Pastors Rick and Betsy Bullis waited on the Lord for the Heavenly inspired vision spoken of in Proverbs 29:18. As they followed His lead, doors of opportunity opened in Rick’s secular employment which ultimately caused them to relocate from Denver, CO, to Chicago and launched them into a worldwide ministry concentrating on communist countries. Agape Family Church & World Outreach Center was founded and incorporated in the State of Illinois on August 19, 1980.

The first direction of the Lord was to “Minister the knowledge of God’s Love to the families of the world according to Mark 16:15-20.” In order to accomplish that vision, it was necessary to minister to all the members of the family through Sunday schools, youth groups, midweek prayer services, Bible studies, etc. To that end, the Agape Vision stresses emphasis on training all members of the family to be strong in the Word, beginning with the nursery. Emphasis is placed on developing an active concern for each member of the Agape Family by caring for the individual members of each family. Watchfullness in prayer is a key factor in the accomplishing vision.

During the rehabilitation of the old Wood Dale Nursing Home, which has become the present location of the Agape Family Church, the Lord clearly spoke more of the vision to Pastor Rick in a parable when He said, “That nursing home represents a life without Me. It is empty, ugly, worthless, full of bad memories, and a mo
