The Hebraic Perspective is the biblical mindset in which the Apostles walked out their faith and interpreted Scripture. How we come to know Scripture determines how we walk out our faith, a true demonstration of our love and trust in Elohim. Over millennia it has been taught that Torah had been done away with (abolished), which is simply not the case; “Do not think that I came to destroy the Torah or the Prophets. For truly, I say to you, till the heaven and the earth pass away, one yod or one tittle shall by no means pass from the Torah till all be done.” (Mattithyahu [Matthew] 5:17-18).
While sharing in the Good News, it appears that Paul and the other Apostles were coming against Torah (e.g. Galatiyim [Galatians], Ma`asei [Acts], as well as several other writings); however, they were not opposed to Torah, but rather Messianics and Judaizers who were attempting to keep Torah as a means of salvation, along with their faith in Yeshua. The notion that one could be saved by keeping Torah was nothing more than misguided Pharisaic doctrine, not of the Kingdom. Paul and the Apostles were working diligently to rectify this false doctrine. Torah was never meant to be a vehicle for salvation, salvation is of Messiah Yeshua, whom Torah points to, as well as instructs us on how to walk out our lives in Him.
Scripture states Torah is perfect (Tehillim [Psalms] 19:7-14), how could something that is declared perfect be perfected? Yet, this is exactly what is being taught when one states that Yeshua has perfected Torah. Yeshua fulfilled Torah, He completed what the Father had sent Him to do, and what Torah was pointing to, all of which are shadows of things yet to come (Qolasim [Colossians] 2:17). Torah was continuing to be observed throughout the Messianic Scriptures after the resurrection (see, Ma`asei [Acts] 2:1; 21:2 0f.; 25:8; Qorintiyim Aleph [1 Corinthians] 7:19; Yoḥanan Aleph [1 John] 2:6; Ḥazon [Revelation] 14:12).
