AM Employment Consultancy provides consulting services exclusively to employees privy to grievance, investigatory or disciplinary undertakings.
AMEC was founded with the sole purpose of serving the needs of employees requiring consulting, drafting and/or representation services, but who otherwise cannot afford the steep fees offered by traditional law firms or ADR providers.
We acknowledge that most specialist employment City law firms offer steep hourly rates that automatcially exclude those in receipt of a modest income from their professional services. Furthermore, cuts in the Legal Aid scheme and the introduction of court fees have further restricted access to legal services. As a result, our services are tailored to achieve an internal and ultimately, a cost-effective resolution.
We therefore appreciate that the cost implications involved in seeking legal services can often be a potential barrier to achieving a resolution. AMEC will therefore always strive to overcome any barriers such as financial burdens, or a lack of knowledge relating to employment law or procedural guidelines. We believe that in doing so, we will empower our clients and provide a means to resolve their dispute internally.
Our primary goal is to bridge the gap between social inequality and access to justice, by providing services at competitive rates and facilitating grievances that would not otherwise be pursued by employees due to their state of impecuniosity.
