Description 15 years ago I decided on a complete career change and became a personal trainer. It was a challenging prospect, suddenly being thrown out of my comfort zone and starting something completely new. Often when I meet new clients they are sometimes at this same point, feeling they want to make a change, be it to get fitter, lose weight, gain muscle, improve self confidence or manage stress, but are daunted by having to do something new. I know that my journey has helped others to make these changes.

My clients are of all age groups and fitness levels and I prefer to take a flexible approach, recognizing that everyone reaches their goals in different ways and time scales and it's not 'one size fits all' but tailoring a program to each client individually in order to best meet their needs. My level of experience encompasses training based on functionality helping to promote muscle growth, flexibility, core stability and weight loss.

Finding a personal trainer can be difficult as it's often hard to find someone with the right balance of empathy and rapport whom you can trust to know that they will respond to your needs specifically and to know that what might work for a 25 year old might not necessarily work for a 50 year old. Having recently reached the latter age bracket I feel this puts me in a good position to meet these needs in a positive manner where you will work hard, get results and have fun along the way.
