Aquatic Therapy and Wellness is a private practice that provides hands on, one-on-one physical therapy and aquatic therapy.
Physical therapy is the treatment of disease, injury, or deformity by physical methods such as manual therapy, heat treatment, and exercise rather than by drugs or surgery. Aquatic therapy consists of water-based treatments or exercises of therapeutic intent, in particular for relaxation, fitness, and physical rehabilitation. Treatments and exercises are performed while floating, or partially submerged.

Kelly C. Hoyt, MSPT has been a practicing physical therapist since 1983. She has worked in numerous settings including inpatient, outpatient and home health. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from the University of New Mexico, and her Master's degree from Northwestern University. She has a particular interest in chronic pain patients, and a great deal of experience in serving patients with fibromyalgia. She is certified as an Aquatic Therapist by the Aquatic Therapy and Rehablitiation Institute, and is a member of both the American Physical Therapy Association and Aquatic Exercise Association.
