Arkansas Center for Space and Planetary Sciences (Official) cover
Mission Conduct quality research that contributes to the book of knowledge of space sciences and encourage the youth to pursue careers in science and mathematics.
Description

The Arkansas Center for Space and Planetary Sciences was founded 10 years ago by University professors in different departments. Now an interdisciplinary graduate program, the Space Center conducts research ranging from the rocks on Mars, the atmosphere of one of Saturn's moons, Titan, to the formation and evolution of galaxies!

Students, when not in class, conducting research, or working as TA's, participate in outreach events across northwest Arkansas. The outreach events give the graduate students an opportunity to share their knowledge and passion with the next generation of scientists, engineers, and astronauts.
