Description Pottery in Pembrokeshire! An opportunity to make some pottery as a part of your holiday...so many people want to have a go...make something by hand or try having a go at throwing a pot on the wheel...Ashera Pottery + Trallwyn Holiday Cottages offer that great combination....

Situated in Pembrokeshire National Park - Wales. Ashera Pottery and Trallwyn Holiday Cottages were established in the 90's by Anna Kavanagh, artist and teacher. Anna offers pottery tuition to guests staying in her cottages + yurt + also to local people and small groups. An idyllic setting in the foothills of the Preseli Mountains in which to relax and unwind and get into the creative flow.

If you stay for a week Anna can take you through the whole process of making pots - drying them - firing them + glazing and decorating the pots before their final glaze firing - you can take home your finished pots...

If you just have a few days here you can still make some pots and take them home with you as they are...or book to come back again another time to do the glazing...

Ashera Pottery is open for Pottery Workshops between Easter + September...

Ashera is a small pottery and most groups are small between 3-6 people with a maximum of 8 people. Anna teaches many whole family groups, adults, children and also does one to one or two tuition on the wheel...

If you are local and want to come join in a pottery session you are most welcome...and if you are staying else where on holiday...it is still possible to book in for a pottery session at Ashera...

Both Ashera + Trallwyn are in a magical setting on the edge of the moor with sheep + wild ponies + an ancient stone-circle...with the back drop of the Preseli Hills...there is also a fire pit on the moor beside the cottages...with seating...so you can go off to collect wood + come back and have a fire + watch the sun go down...behind the Hills...

Anna is happy to chat with you about which cottage suits you best...or which pottery sessions you might lik
