Associate Board of Ambassadors -Tampa Bay cover
Mission The American Cancer Society is the nationwide, community-based, voluntary health organization dedicated to eliminating cancer as a major health problem by preventing cancer, saving lives, and diminishing suffering from cancer, through research, education, advocacy, and service.
Description The Associate Board of Ambassadors (ABOA) is a young professionals group dedicated to finishing the fight against cancer while creating influence in Tampa Bay. The ABOA is the first of its kind in Florida.

We will be hosting socials and fundraisers throughout the year culminating in our largest fundraising event, Belles & Beaus, on May 5, 2018.

ABOA members have the opportunity to network with others who are interested in making a difference in their community while significantly impacting the American Cancer Society’s lifesaving mission.

Today, the American Cancer Society continues the bold mission set out by its founders over a century ago, combining its years of experience with an unyielding passion to save lives and end cancer for good.
As a global grassroots force of two million volunteers, the Society's mission is to saves lives and celebrate life every single day.

The organization is dedicated to helping people stay well by preventing cancer or detecting it early, helping people get well with support throughout a cancer experience, by finding cures through groundbreaking discovery, and by advocating through public policy.
As the nation’s largest non-governmental investor in cancer research, contributing more than $4 billion since 1946, the American Cancer Society works to turn what we know about cancer into what we do about it. As a result, more than 14 million people who have had cancer, and countless more who have avoided it, will be celebrating life this year.
All of this is possible because of volunteers like you.

Thank you for helping us on our life saving mission to end cancer.
