Description Hello, and welcome to our Page!

The Ringwood Group of the Australian Breastfeeding Association covers the suburbs of Ringwood, Ringwood East, Ringwood North, Heathmont, Warranwood, Park Orchards, Warrandyte South, and Wonga Park, However we welcome mothers and families from anywhere :).

The purpose of this Facebook page is to keep you up-to-date on the latest happenings within our local group.

We meet on Tuesday mornings (10am until noon) fortnightly during the school term in Ringwood East. Fathers, older siblings, and support people are welcome to join our mums and mums-to-be at meetings.

Everyone is welcome at our meetings, no matter how you feed your baby! We strive to provide a safe, inclusive environment, with practical mother-to-mother support.

Our get-togethers include discussing topics to do with breastfeeding, providing support to breastfeeding mums and those supporting them, and more casual meetings that involve coffee and chats. Babies and children are always welcome, and we have plenty of toys, books, and colouring activities to keep them occupied.

A plate of food to share is always welcomed, if you have the time. Don’t feel you need to be right on time! We’re all mothers and understand that punctuality isn’t always possible. We’d rather see you for a short time than not at all. A Breastfeeding Counsellor is always present to answer any questions you may have, whether they apply to the topic or not.

Casual guests are encouraged to join the Australian Breastfeeding Association as a group member after two visits. Membership provides a wide range of benefits. To find out more about the benefits of becoming an ABA member and to join, please visit the ABA website www.breastfeeding.asn.au or email our group leader, Monica, at abaringwood@gmail.com

Join our Facebook group! It’s a great place to chat, get support, and keep up to date with what is happening in our group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/abaringwood/
