Founded 1981
Products The Automotive Safety Program at Riley Hospital for Children, Indiana University School of Medicine, with funding from the Indiana Criminal Justice Institute, has established a network of 122 Permanent Fitting Stations located in 63 of the 92 counties in Indiana.

Permanent Fitting Stations:

Permanent Fitting Stations are places where a parent/caregiver can schedule an appointment to have their child’s safety seat inspected by a certified child passenger safety technician (CPST). The CPST will check the child’s current seat for recalls, proper fit, and proper installation. The parent/caregiver is instructed how to properly use and install the child safety seat. A PFS may provide a child safety seat to children participating in any public assistance program, based on availability.
