A registered charity established since 1981. Providing a unique service to the local community of Leicester and Leicestershire.
Donation of unwanted baby equipment, toys, clothes, beddings and so on is brought in to the project to be refurbished to a safe and clean standard to be passed on to families on benefits or low income.
The refurbished and re-cycling is done in the supported workshop by vulnerable adults in particulars those who suffer long term mental ill health, learning disabilities, unemployed etc.
The service provides training, support, care and structured environment which encourages and motivate people to become more independent.
service users gain skills and increase their confident and self-esteem as they are made to feel part of the origination and the wider community.
Accredited as well as informal training is provided in carpentry, engineering, textiles, retail, basic life skills, ICT, Maths, English, employment skills and much more.
