Planting began at Benjella in 2003 and its first vintage was produced from grapes harvested in 2007.
Only biological products such as Nutrisoil, and Seasol are used to maximise the growth and health of the vines. No pesticides are used on Benjella vines and only a minimal use of disease control products when necessary.
Grapes are handpicked during March and April.
Single vineyard wines are produced from shiraz, pinot noir, sauvignon blanc and chardonnay grapes.
