|About||Hydrographics (Water Transfer Printing) is a process where a graphic is transferred to a 3 dimensional item through water transfer.|
Big Dipper Hydrographics (since August 2015)
Hydrographics (also known as hydrodipping or water transfer printing) is the method of applying a pattern/print to a 3D object. Projects range from guns, vehicle parts, wheels, helmets, bike & quad plastics,...and so much more!!!!
We can add that special custom look to almost anything you can dream up. The possibilities are endless!! 100's of patterns to choose from & more available to order. All items are cleaned & prepped, painted with a base coat colour of your choice, then the film is applied (hydrodippedin our tank). The last step is to apply an automotive grade clear coat in matte or gloss. The clear coat will ensure the finish is very durable & protects the design.
Cerakote Ceramic Coating: We use Cerakote for firearms as well as high temp. coatings for headers and exhaust components. We can customize with your choice of color or restore to like new.
Timeline to complete your project will vary depending on size, number of items & how busy we are. As an example, normally a hydrodipped stock could be completed in 2-3 days
