|About||Student activists on Boise State seeking the liberation of all historically and systemically marginalized peoples.|
The existence of the Inclusive Excellence Council (IESC) is to imagine and co-create a campus where all students are safe to express their full humanity and are treated equitably.
The IESC advocates for historically and systemically marginalized communities and students; advises community stakeholders, as well as faculty, administration, and student organizations; and maintains healthy relationships and connections with all entities on campus to create a welcoming environment and enhance the educational experience at Boise State University.
The IESC was created to continue the legacy of student activists who advocated for their existence within institutions that failed marginalized communities from being able to access a culturally relevant education that de-centers white supremacy, trans bigotry, homophobia, classism, sexism, xenophobia, ageism, and ableism.
