|About||Eccentric and fun village shop, cafe, and community space in the heart of Boxgrove, Chichester. Come in for tea, coffee, and a variety of cooked meals!|
After an enjoyable 14 years at Boxgrove Stores, Malcolm & Lesley have decided that it is time to move on.
As a result, the store will be closing on Friday the 13th October and re-opening as “Boxies” on Wednesday the 1st November at 7.30am.
Boxies will continue to provide all your everyday requirements. On top of all your usual expectations we will be offering more catering with a commercial open plan kitchen to the rear and a larger seating area for breakfast, coffee, lunch, tea and the occasional themed evenings. We will also be providing a small outside catering service to meet local needs.
We intend to add a community feel to the store with meeting groups, games, creative hobbies, cookery classes or just a good old get together over a cup of something.
We’re looking for a team to come and work together in a fun and enthusiastic environment. Everyone will have the same skill sets and be paid the same, above the living wage. The hours can be flexible to suit your needs and all training will be given. This is more than just a job, giving you access to a busy social network, learning new skills and many other benefits.
We would very much like to hear any ideas you may have for your community space and how you envisage Boxies evolving in the future. If you’d like to share your thoughts, register for your Boxies loyalty card, or join the team, visit our website at www.boxies.co.uk or phone Jane Barnes at 07890-753-318.
