Dr George Mayson is one of the leading Certified Cosmetic Surgeons in Australia, always at the forefront of new technologies in Cosmetic Surgery. An Honours Graduate from Sydney University, he underwent specialist training in Cosmetic Surgery both in Australia and the United States.
His main work interest and greatest passion is Breast Augmentation Surgery. In 2007 he performed a Breast Augmentation on Ch 7’s ‘The Body Specialists’. In 2012 he delivered two presentations of his innovative techniques at the Annual Meeting of the American Society of Cosmetic Breast Surgery. These were received with so much acclaim that Dr Mayson was invited to again present his talks at another USA conference in 2014.
Dr Mayson’s reputation is also well-known in media circles. His work has featured regularly on TV and in major magazines and newspapers. He has been interviewed on interstate radio stations and has conducted Cosmetic Surgery talk-back sessions on 2UE, 2GB and the ABC. Dr Mayson has also appeared on top-rating television programs such as ‘Today Tonight’, ‘A Current Affair’, ‘Good Medicine’ and for years was the regular guest Cosmetic Surgeon on Channel Nine’s ‘Midday Show’ with Kerri-Anne Kennerley.
Dr Mayson endears himself to his patients with his very down-to-earth, friendly and unassuming manner.
Comments we regularly receive from patients include how comfortable they felt during their consultation and how professional and detailed his information was. And when it comes to surgery, he never has a ‘near enough is good enough’ attitude. Instead, he always strives to get the best possible result for every patient. Th
