Bridget Vandenburgh is the founder and president of Bridget Vandenburgh Interiors Inc. She is a Sanibel Island interior designer and has been decorating since 1992, specializing in residential interior design.
Bridget is a graduate of Mount Saint Joseph College, Cincinnati, Ohio with a BA in Interior Design and a minor in Business. She has been an Allied member of the American Society of Interior Design since 1988. Bridget has successfully completed an intense course in sustainable home furnishings endorsed by the Sustainable Furnishings Council. This work earned her a Green Leaders certificate in 2009.
After 10 years owning Woods Interiors in Lancaster, Ohio, Bridget decided to move to the warmth and sunshine of Sanibel Island. She has been decorating in Fort Myers and the islands of Sanibel & Captiva since 2005. In 2017, she decided to open a design studio on Sanibel which reflects her love of coastal décor.
Bridget enjoys designing homes and condominiums for her Southwest Florida clients that are not only beautiful but also functional. She has a keen ability to establish an open rapport with her clients. Listening, gently guiding and genuinely caring are her tools of the trade. Her product knowledge and attention to detail help her to guide the process and ensures the success of the project. Bridget values her longstanding relationships with local contractors, work rooms and furniture vendors. Her customers continue to call on her year after year for projects of all sizes because they know she will see them through the design process successfully every time.
