The Business Design Centre, formally The Royal Agricultural Hall, boasts 6000m2 of unimpeded event space and flexible conference facilities and is the UK’s first CarbonNeutral® venue. With the original ironwork from the Business Design Centres’ days as The Royal Agricultural Hall still a prominent feature throughout the venue, the backdrop to events held here is impressive.
With a reputation founded on the quality of its environment and flexibility of space, the venue is the perfect setting for high profile conferences for up to 2,500 guests. Facilities include in-house caterers and audio-visual company, an adjacent Hilton hotel, onsite car parking and wireless internet capabilities throughout. The centre also has full disabled access.
Our Gallery Hall boasts 890sqm of space - able to accommodate up to 650 delegates in theatre style or 440 in cabaret. Contemporary in style, with superb natural daylight, blackout facilities, purpose built cloakroom/registration areas at its entrance and an additional 560sqm on the upper atrium level, the room offers the perfect environment for large conferences, fashion shows, AGMs and product launches.
The Hall is inter-linked to our Conference Centre, where our Auditorium includes fully retractable raked seating for 268 delegates and can seat up to 500 theatre style with front projection or 220 cabaret. Adjacent to this we have Rooms A/B/C/D/E and F, where acoustic walling allows for all the rooms to be sub-divided to accommodate 6 large breakout areas comfortably seating 60 - 250 theatre style in each.
