Owner Dale Stratton has been a hunting and fishing guide for 31+ years of which 24+ have been on Kodiak Island. He knows exactly what and where you need to go for a wonderful and memorable experience.
We will give you a fishing experience you will never forget regardless of your skill level. The exciting ATV trip to the fishing hole will wet your appetite for the adventures of the rest of the day. We’ve put together some great day and over-night packages that will ensure you get all you want from your excursion. We make it comfortable for you to enjoy a great trip and tackle some of the best fish you will ever catch. Salmon, Rainbow, Steelhead, Dollies.. We aim to get your daily limit.
If we are lucky we may get a chance to show you the Kodiak Brown Bear, some of the largest bear in the northern hemisphere! Other wildlife includes, but is not limited to various sea mammals.
The Whales of Kodiak are found in the waters of Kodiak are fin, minke, humpback, killer and gray whales. Spring and fall are the best times for observing migrating gray whales. Killer whales are common in the spring and summer. Steller Sea Lions often seen in boat harbors and haul-out areas. Sea Otters are often seen in sheltered waters near kelp beds. Harbor Seals are f ound in protected inner bays and lagoons. Dall and white-sided porpoise are often seen riding a boat's waves, unlike the shy harbor porpoise.
Kodiak is a birder's paradise. Thanks to a mild climate and plentiful food supply, bird watching opportunities are excellent year-round. Over 200 bird species have been identified in the archipelago. Winter bird counts are usually the highest in Alaska, with some 80 species identified last year.
