About We are a small AKC Boston Terrier Breeder of Standard and Boston Terriers of Color
Description Canterbury Tails Boston TerriersCanterbury Tails BT, is located in between Gainesville and Ocala which is north central Florida. We pride ourselves in our BAER and CERT health testing of every puppy before leaving for their new home! All of our adult dogs are genetically tested and do not carry JHC (Juvenile Hereditary Cataracts), Degenerative Myelopathy(DM) and Hyperuricosuria (HUU) Clear by parentage and hemivertebrae.
Boston Terriers are a wonderful companion with sweet disposition and typically are pretty quiet. They do have a high energy threshold and need to have lots of love and exercise. All of our dogs are under 21 pounds and we do offer stud service, Ship Semen and will offer puppies when available. The breed is prone to Juvenile Hereditary Cataracts, Patellar Luxation, Heart Murmurs, Blindness and Deafness. Since we will only have a few litters a year we encourage anyone interested to to fill out a application to be put on our waiting list. Our puppies are sold with a limited registration with few exceptions.
