Neibacher, Susan's Place is our safe, 220 bed transitional residence with onsite, licensed medical and dental clinic to provide shelter and care for medically frail and mentally ill homeless women. Susan's Place offers residents educational classes, recreational activity groups, support groups, a library, a gym and computer lab.
Care for the Homeless helps over 10,000 homeless people every year to access health care and the other services they desperately need for survival.
Services we offer: primary health care, dental care, health education including HIV rapid testing, STD risk reduction, disease prevention and management, social services including mental health evaluation and treatment, adherence services, substance abuse and alcohol counseling, intensive case management. CFH's Pediatric Mental Health program aims to help the young and disenfranchised break the cycle of future homelessness, while giving families a chance to play and learn together.
