I have always been passionate about food and love cooking and experimenting with new ingredients and recipes.
I grew up in a family of meat lovers, but meat was never my favourite food. I still enjoy the smoky and savoury flavours though.
My teenage daughter challenged me some years ago by choosing to turn Vegan overnight. Soon after, my younger daughter and I followed suit, and there I was, with half the family on a mostly vegan/vegetarian diet, and the other half (my husband and son) on a carnivore diet.
The cliché hit my family 100% - men want meat, women want vegetables! But to be fair, I do know a lot of male veggie lovers too…
My focus is on healthy, nutritious and natural ingredients. If you are keen to try new recipes with vegetarian and/or plant based ingredients, I would like to show you how easy it can be to prepare tasty food without meat and/or animal products.
