About An NIH/NIBIB funded Center focused on Precision Medicine using micro- and nanofluidics.
Center of BioModular Multiscale Systems for Precision Medicine cover
Mission To design, manufacture and deliver new tools to the biomedical community for utilizing liquid biopsies for disease detection and management.
Description CBM2 is making timely and important discoveries to the Precision Medicine initiative by developing new and state-of-the-art tools that can transition quickly into the clinic to provide diagnostic and prognostic information currently inaccessible to the patient due to limitations in current testing platforms. CBM2 is generating diagnostic tools that will be able to detect rare disease-associated biomarkers in blood samples, such as Liquid Biopsy, and supply important information to the clinician to dramatically improve quality of care for that patient. This is being done for a variety of diseases, such as cancer, stroke and infectious diseases to name a few.

Our affiliate universities are the University of Kansas, Louisiana State University, the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill, and Cornell University.
