|About||We meet on the fourth Tuesday of each month from September through April at the Orillia Museum of Art and History, 30 Peter Street South, Orillia 7PM.|
Established in 1955 as a non-profit organization consisting of thirty-seven charter members, CFUW Orillia has grown to one hundred and five members. The yearly program provides guest speakers, information on local advocacy issues, and opportunities to develop new friendships.
We are a voluntary, non-profit, self-funded organization, active in public affairs, working to raise the social, economic and legal status of women as well as to improve education, the environment, peace, justice and human rights.
Originally CFUW (Canadian Federation of University Women) membership required a university degree or equivalent. Membership is now offered to all women who believe in our goals and value lifelong learning.
