Description Custom Cabinet Shop for Residential and Commercial Projects

This company was originally chartered in 1971 as Classic Homes, Inc. In 1984, it became Classic Homes, Inc. d/b/a Classic Laminating. Effective January 1, 1996, it was formerly changed to Classic Laminating, Inc., d/b/a Classic Cabinets & Millwork.

The company has conducted business since 1984 as a manufacturer of custom commercial cabinets and casegoods. The primary market is centered on hospital/medical, business and commercial applications. The cabinetry is constructed wood with laminate or veneer finishes and includes production of countertops out of laminate and solid surface material. Additionally, store fixtures, office furniture, and custom fixtures are produced on special orders.

Jack M. Goldberg founded the company in 1971 as the sole owner and president. His background as a deputy director for Urban Renewal, owner of a building materials retail store, and owner of a residential construction and remodeling company provided insight to the construction industry. He focused the company in 1984 to target the cabinetry and casegoods portion of the construction industry.

Deborah A. Goldberg joined the company in 1994 as Marketing and Personnel Director. Ms. Goldberg had extensive background in corporate sales and management. This helped the company broaden its customer base and enhance its company personnel policies and structure. Since that time, her area of involvement has included all Administrative Management including finance, personnel, marketing and training. Effective January 1, 1999, Mrs. Goldberg became primary stockholder with Jack Goldberg being the other stockholder.
