Community Dental Assisting Program "Community Education" cover
Mission To continue to be the best Dental Assistanting Instructor that I can be, to keep class-mates in touch with each other, to help people find dental jobs and to share dental information. I will always post any dental jobs that I know of as soon as I get the info that is needed. Dentist are always contacting me for students to interview.
Description I have been a full time Dental Assistant for nearly 20 years and I have been teaching this Dental Assisting class for 10 year. Not everyone is fortunate enough to go to college full time for free. Most people are stuck with school loans but with my program you will learn what you need to start your CAREER as a DENTAL ASSISTANT without the huge expense. You can earn up to $19+ an hour! My program is "only" 6 weeks long and just 2 nights a week. All needed Materials are provided, Advice on Resume' and Job Searching, 36 hours of classroom and hands on Instruction. four handed dentistry, how to take impressions, how to take dental x-rays for preparation for the Dental Radiology Permit test, charting teeth, CPR/AED training and Certification and so much more! With this non-accredited program you will receive a Certificate of Completion upon your passing grade which meets or exceeds the qualification to work as a Dental Assistant in Mississippi and in most states. Many states such as Mississippi do not have any requirements or very little. If you choose to become certified with the DANB which is just a personal preference and not a necessity, you must work full time as a Dental Assistant for two consecutive years or part time for four consecutive years.
