|About||Our Club promotes participation, improvement and having fun! We welcome young swimmers of all ages & abilities from Coorparoo SS and the wider community.|
The Coorparoo State School Swim Club welcomes young swimmers from both Coorparoo State School and the wider community. The Club caters for swimmers of all ages and abilities; children do not have to be good swimmers to enjoy the benefits of our Swim Club. We promote participation, improvement and having fun. Members of other clubs are also welcome.
Coorparoo State School Swim Club members enjoy the benefits of:
- 25 metre, 8 lane pool (entrance via Halstead St, Coorparoo)
- Electronic timing system
- Enthusiastic team of volunteers and supporters
- Canteen and bar
The management of the Swim Club is vested in the Coorparoo State School Swim Club Committee; a sub-committee of the Coorparoo State School P&C Association. The Swim Club is affiliated with Swimming Queensland.
Upon joining the Club, all members are registered with Swimming Qld (SQ) and Brisbane Swimming (BSA). Parents, guardians and carers are entitled to free membership of SQ but are requested to complete a membership form for insurance purposes.
Everything you need to know about the Swim Club including rules and regulations is detailed in the CSSSC Handbook. Please read and refer to the handbook for more detailed information about how the Swim Club operates.
