|About||Coppertown Association is a non profit organization which helps benefit everyone in our tri community area, which encompasses, Oracle, Mammoth, and San Man|
|Mission||Coppertown's main objective is to support our community and impact the lives of its residents in a healthy and positive manner!|
The Coppertown Association was founded to assist San Manuel and the surrounding communities, located within the economically depressed "Copper Corridor" of Sotheast Arizona, in the handling of county wide efforts and needs which exceed the ability of existing organizations to support on their own.
Some of these organizations are: The San Manuel Senior Citizens, Rotary Club, the Historical Society of San Manuel, and the Adelante Juntos Coalition, a youth drop-out and drug and alcohol prevention program.
The Coppertown Association also focuses on annually brining back the people and their families, originally associated with mining in the area. This celebration is, Coppertown Days. The focus of this celebration is the mining heritage of this area, as well as the, Copper Corridor towns, where mining has long been or was the life blood of the communities, and to re energize the spirit and pride that was at one time, prevalent in the area.
We strive to work with all the existing organizations and not duplicate their efforts, but rather support them in what they do. We host several fundraising activities: Annual Car Show, a softball tournament, Horseshoe tournament, as well as the Copoertown Days Celebration which includes games and entertainment for children, live entertainment, and food and craft vendors.
Through these efforts in the past, we have been able to donate funds to local non-profit organizations: Adelante Juntos Youth Center, Safe Journey House, the tri-community food bank, as well as Grad night, and Community Schools Annual 4th of July Pool Party.
