|Mission||The Cornell Office of Undergraduate Biology provides comprehensive, high-quality academic, career, and research advising services to prospective students, current undergraduates, alumni and faculty. Our primary mission is to serve the diverse needs of students pursuing the biological sciences while ensuring that they successfully navigate the biology major and achieve their academic and career aspirations.|
Exciting possibilities are available at Cornell for undergraduates interested in study and research in almost any aspect of the biological sciences. The Cornell Office of Undergraduate Biology aims to provide students with interesting news as well as upcoming events and opportunities to spark their interests and engage with the research community on campus.
The size of the biological sciences program and the diversity of the faculty's teaching and research interests are reflected in more than 380 biology course offerings and in the design of our 14 major concentrations and overall flexibility of the undergraduate curriculum. Among many areas, our graduates successfully pursue careers in medicine, research, business, conservation and the environment, education, government, and law.
