COVA has been operating and warming in business since mid 1970s. However, the business start small. Mr. Raksha Krishnan and his best friend Mr. Zainudin Aripin took over a small chartered yacht business from an old Canadian man. They named the company as YELLOW TORNADO CRUISE and focused on specific mission: delivering cruise experience, fine-dining, travel enjoyment, enjoyment, serenity, romantic sightseeing. Most of the clients came mainly for exotic yet luxury experience, vacations, romance, corporate meet-up, sport fishing and sweet escape.
In 1980s, YELLOW TORNADO moved its headquarter to Hong Kong Gold Coast. Ten years later, during nationwide recession, the company stumbled and unable to make much profit as predicted. The chartered business competition elevated ; competitors are powerful and and gigantic. Prior to health issue and aging, Mr. Zainudin withdraw himself from the company leaving Mr. Raksha alone as the sole owner of YELLOW TORNADO with reserved capital worth of USD 20,000,000.00 derived from few investors, bank loan and insurance claim.
After that, in February 1992, Mr. Raksha renamed the company as COVA Entertainment & Events. It is more specific, well-defined and relevant prior to the variety of services and products offered. The Company strive and manage to secure strategic partnership contract in organizing stage-performances, celebrity tours and major entertainment event. Mr. Raksha employs more than 500 professional event crews to assist his one-man-show operation and he was absolutely very happy that finally he configured the crosscut of creating infinite USD figures (Millions or even Billions per annum). Despite the luxury derived from entertainment and event deal, the chartered yacht business is still running as usual. Mr. Raksha add more entertainment values, private exclusive event place for VIP and VVIPs, and extrinsic facilities on-board for the passengers.
