Criterion Training Solutions offer the highest quality training to the Security and Private Sector. We provide a variety of training courses including those accredited by NASDU to Security Companies, Dog Handlers and their dogs.
During our training sessions, Our trainers draw upon their practical experience to ensure praticality and realism. The courses include input on use of force legislation, powers of detention as well as the core roles and responsibilities of a Security Officer. The high standards and friendly manner of our trainers compliment the hard work they expect from all of our students. This combination promotes well trained handlers who are capable of offering the industry professionalism and quality.
Neil is a Director and primary trainer with Criterion Training Solutions. He has trained and worked Police Dogs for over 15 years and is a Home Office Accredited (ACPO/NPCC Police Dog Trainer. Neil is an approved trainer and assessor for NASDU and a Master Trainer with the Guild of Dog Trainers. He is a member of the British Institute of Professional Dog Trainers. He holds a City & Guilds 7303 qualification in teaching and an NVQ Level 3 in Customer Care.
Neil has competed in numerous Police Dog competitions including The National Police Dog finals three times. He has also competed in open working and Service Dog competitions.
Criterion Training Solutions offer the highest quality, practical and realistic training to handlers and dogs who expect the very best. This includes CT training and a variety of NASDU Accredited courses.
At Criterion Training Solutions, our training staff include three Home Office accredited trainers, and trainers with many years experience in Search and Rescue. This ensures that information and experiences shared are up to the minute current and relevant. The instructors, together offer over 80 years of practical experience.
At our NASDU Approved training facilities in South Yorkshire we offer students everything they need from classroom facilities to a large variety of practical, live venues to train in. We have a good relationship with local businesses which provides us with a large number of both urban and rural training areas, plus we have access to ‘live’ buildings to replicate as near as possible operational scenarios, these range from accommodation blocks, working distribution yards, outdoor pursuits facilities and industrial units. We also have suitable facilities to hold seminars and specialised training sessions.
All training undertaken by students is recorded electronically, with each student having their own individual training records and 24 hr access to them. All handlers are welcome no matter what experience or affiliation, whether members of NASDU, BIPDT, NTIPDU or none of the above.

4) NASDU Annual Team assessments.
5) Daytime CT Training (6-8GLH).
6) Evening/night CT Sessions for more practical skills and procedure training.
7) K9 First Aid (Provided by one of the UK's top vets)
8) Use of force, powers of arrest/detention and statement writing.
