|Mission||We are a research lab based in the Psychology department at the California State University San Marcos. Our research is interested in understanding how our cultural values and backgrounds affect the way we regulate our emotions and cope with stress. We aim to design interventions to improve the quality of life for ethnic minorities in the United States.|
Participate in our current research!
Cancer Experiences Study:
We are seeking Asian and Hispanic/Latino cancer survivors to participate in an online survey study about their cancer experiences.
Eligibility: You can participate in this study if you match ALL of the following criteria:
• Asian or Hispanic/Latino
• Have been diagnosed with cancer
• Within five years of having cancer treatment
• Over the age of 18
If you meet these criteria and agree to be in the study, you will complete an online survey that takes approximately 30 minutes.
Compensation: You will receive a $10 Walmart eGift card delivered electronically to your email.
Risks and safeguards: Thinking about your cancer experiences may make you uncomfortable, so you will receive links to online resources for counseling and support at the end of the survey.
