I’ve been a Certified Kinesiologist with the Newfoundland & Labrador Kinesiology Association since Jan 2014. In that time, I’ve had experience conducting Functional Movement Assessments with clientele that had been involved in motor-vehicle accidents (MVAs) in order to establish a movement baseline upon which to build a post-rehabilitative exercise program.
I also attended a Myofascial Release Workshop with Jim Bilotta in May 2014, which sparked my interest in manual therapy. I graduated from Eastern College in 2016 with a Diploma in Massage Therapy, and have been a Registered Massage Therapist with the College of Massage Therapists of Newfoundland & Labrador since Sept 2016. My work in Kinesiology further progressed into strength and conditioning coaching for 7 months during 2016.
I currently offer 5 days a week availability for massage therapy treatments at Proactive Physiotherapy Aberdeen Ave with all sessions having an aspect of remedial exercise and postural education included. I have also moved into workshop instruction, offering courses in kinesiology as continuing education to other registered massage therapists.
I am a positive, motivated individual who is eager to share what I’ve learned about movement and massage therapy to better your everyday. Healthy body, healthy mind, happy heart.
Yours truly in balanced wellness,
