|Mission||The purpose of Demoiselle 2 Femme, "Young Ladies to Women" is to provide holistic services, education, instruction and training to assist adolescent females in a successful transition to womanhood.|

**Demoiselle 2 Femme After School Program: Participants meet weekly during the school year (at Simeon, Fenger, Julian, Thornton, Thornridge, Bloom high schools and the Bellevue Ministry Center), for workshops and personal development sessions. Program services include weekly workshops, school advocacy, leadership development, community service, cultural activities, college tours, college admission assistance, mentorship, and the influence of true sisterhood.
**D2F P.H.I.T.: (Pursuing Health through Intense Training) The D2F PHIT Club is designed to provide education, support and
an exciting experience which challenges African American girls and women to take charge of
their health and the health of their community. The club will operate as a community-based
model which reaches youth and adult participants in four primary areas: fitness, nutrition,
wellness, and community education.
**College Connection: Through this program students receive scholarships, care packages, seminars, internships, professional guidance and mentorship. Participants are encouraged to remain connected to the program through the D2F Connected newsletter, D2F Myspace and Facebook pages, conference calls and webcasts.
**D2F College Experience: A newly developed program component at Eastern Illinois University which supports college young women in making healthy lifestyle choices and achieve academic success through the conduits of sisterhood and leadership development.
**Leadership College: Designed to provide experiences which increase self-efficacy and the development of skills relevant to success in adulthood. Students are challenged to develop their leadership potential through workshops and activities which examine leadership styles, effective communication, conflict management, decision making, goal setting and character development.
