|About||Tai Chi and Qigong workshops and classes in Exeter and Tiverton with an experienced and accredited instructor.|
Hi there, my name is Siwan Morus (pronounced Seewan Morris). I've recently moved to Devon to live in a Buddhist community near Crediton. I was previously living and teaching up in Wales.
As well as being an experienced Taiji quan and Qigong instructor I'm also a qualified mindfulness trainer. The two disciplines complement each other beautifully.
I find that qigong deeply supports my buddhist practice. I'm interested in how practicing qigong opens and softens us both physically and emotionally, leading to experiences of integration and awakening. As well as keeping me healthy, this is the main reason I practice qigong everyday.
I've been practicing Taiji quan and qigong since my mid twenties, starting off with Shihan Thomas Buchi who also taught me karate.
In 2000 I met my main teacher and founder of the UK Taiji qigong foundation, Raymond Towers. I still travel up to Cumbria regularly to train with him. He is a high level practitioner and teacher of the Chinese internal martial arts of Baguazhang, Xingyiquan and T'ai Chi Chuan as well as being an expert qigong practitioner and healer.
For this first year in Devon I'm going to be focusing on passing on what I understand of Qigong but
if you are interested in learning Chinese martial arts I can offer one to one sessions, just get in touch.
