|Mission||The Diversity Roundtable attracts, retains and empowers individuals of underrepresented backgrounds in the profession of architecture through scholarship, community service and activism.|
The Diversity Roundtable embraces and celebrates diversity in all its facets and strives to provide opportunities for an ever-greater diversity of individuals to become registered architects, take advantage of leadership opportunities, and influence our practices and our professional lives. The committee hosts the annual Solstice Celebration and awards the Marga Rose Hancock Endowed Scholarship for Diversity scholarship and the Denice Hunt K-12 Internship.
The Diversity Roundtable meets the first Tuesday of every month at 4pm at AIA Seattle located in the Center for Architecture and Design. AIA Seattle members, allied members and sponsors are encouraged to join as well as other professionals in the design community.
